Probate and Estate Planning Legal Team

Meet the team

AJ Law Firm is composed of one attorney, Amber Mannings, Esq., whose personal background ignites both her ambition and compassion in every case she handles.

Amber J. Mannings, Esq.

Founding Attorney
Amber Mannings is the founding attorney of AJ Law Firm, P.A., a firm focused on providing solutions to clients throughout South Florida. Amber graduated, year early and summa cum laude, from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science in 2019. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from FIU College of Law. Born and raised in Broward County, Amber enjoys the privilege of counseling and representing family, friends, and colleagues within her hometown. During her time in law school, Amber provided legal services to inner-city residents as a legal fellow for the Legal Services of Greater Miami. While managing law school during the COVID-19 pandemic, Amber also externed as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kathleen Williams and Donald Graham, both of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also provided mitigation services through her time at FIU College of Law's Death Penalty Clinic, conducting extensive research on Florida's parole law and reviewing thousands of pages of medical records, advocating for alternative sentences for mentally challenged inmates facing capital punishment. In the months leading up to graduation, Amber was a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender Office, defending traffic cases and misdemeanors and simultaneously worked in a first party property insurance defense firm. Amber was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2022. Prior to opening her own law firm, Amber practiced over the course of two years in the areas of commercial litigation, business law, and probate administration (along with litigation), while simultaneously handling several real estate transactions, including negotiating and settling cases both in and out of state and federal courts. Amber is a member of the Florida Bar and is active in the community. She regularly volunteers her time with HANDY, Inc., Educate Tomorrow, and FIU's Fostering Panther Pride, all community-based programs in South Florida designed to facilitate resources to homeless and at-risk youth to promote access to post-secondary education, an initiative very personal to Amber, who endured youth homelessness at the age of 17. Her story has been featured in several news outlets, and she embraces these platforms to mentor youth who are interested in a career in law.
